Oh, this whole world keeps spinning 'round. It's a wonder tall trees ain't layin' down. There comes a time, comes a time.

Suspended Until Further Notice

Having three blogs is just to much for me. I will be pausing In a Goat's Shoes and In Tayet's Shoes for a while until I am less busy, or I can figure out a way to do all three again. Into the Land of Photography will be converted into a semblance of all three, with posts on goats, my life and my photography. The other two blogs will not be deleted, so you'll be able to read old posts if you like.

I'm looking forward to designing my 'new' blog and I hope all of you will follow my there if you don't already,

Panda Cat

So a new cat has been coming around on the farm and we named him Johnny the Red Panda Cat, Johnny or Panda for short. he's very friendly and we are probably his secondary home or someone dumped him out by us, because for some reason people who don't need their cats think that farms are ALWAYS in need of another cat. Not us, that's for sure!

But he's soo nice and cuddly, that we just can't help ourselves! He won't be a indoor kitty, but if he sticks around he might become a pet =)

News of Uhura

Baby goats have boarded on the Just Kidding Express. The expected arrival date is January 30th, unless there is some unforeseen mishap.

Good luck, Uhura!

Bye Bye, Baby, Bye Bye..

Cassie and Vinnie sold this morning. They are going to a nice farm to be pets and milk goats. They are nice children there who love them a lot! I put together a few collages of them growing up here on the farm.

E and T are MIA!

Jenny came up with a toughy this week! All participants have to write a cohesive sentence without the letters 'E' or 'T'. Good golly, Miss Molly... I'll try my best!

I love long, lazy summer days.

It's the truth. Nothing fits the bill better than lying in the sun reading a book. Or, attempting to read a book while a naughty little goat tries to eat it.

Fair Pictures and Random Thoughts

And alas, this years fair has come to a close. A cow ate my Grand Champion rosette, but what's a fair without a ribbon eating cow?

Yesterday was my birthday, I turned 14.

Cassie and Vinnie are up for sale, so if you know anyone in WI or surrounding states that are in need of adorable, super tame goaties, let me know!

The goats at the fair. From left to right, Vinnie, Gold and Willow.
A cute little spotted calf across from the goats.
Two of the other goats at the fair. The grey one is Olivia.
Some veggies.
A Netherland dwarf rabbit.
A Lop rabbit.
Super cool crested duck!
Spotted pig.
We caught two White Pekin ducks at this years Chicken Chase. Tommi is very happy not to be alone any more

Krazy Kool Results!

Gold got Grand Champion and I got Champion Show Person of the intermediate class. I got two rosettes, two blue ribbons a plaque and a hoody.

Vinnie: My nine year old sister showed Vinnie and got Best Show Person of the junior class. She got got two blue ribbons, a rosette and a hoody.

Willow: Willow was the second biggest goat there (only Gold was bigger than her!). My sixteen year old brother showed her and got Reserve Grand Champion! He only showed her in the pet class as opposed to my sister and I who showed in both the pet and showmanship class. He got a blue ribbon, a rosette and a plaque.

In other things, I got 6 blue ribbons and 2 red ribbons in photography. My little sister got a red ribbon for a collage she made and a red ribbon for a drawing of a tree. My brother got a blue ribbon for his chocolate chip cookies and a red ribbon for his peanut butter cookies.

Next year, I'm going to raise three meat rabbits and enter them in the fair. And if I get meat rabbits, why not get a pet rabbit and enter that too? (if I can convince my dad that I should get another pet rabbit.) I'm also going to (maybe) show a chicken or two.

This years fair is turning out great! You won't believe what happens when we enter Penny in the Dress-a-Critter contest... and that's all I'm going to say about that subject for now... DUN DUN DUN!
