Oh, this whole world keeps spinning 'round. It's a wonder tall trees ain't layin' down. There comes a time, comes a time.

Christmas Eve

Today is a frenzy of making lasagna, cookies and taco dip, while listening to U2. Tonight, we go to my Gramma and Grampa's house to open presents with my cousins and siblings. I'm getting a new camera! It's a Canon A2200, I can't wait!

Tomorrow, we'll wake up and our stockings will be at the end of our beds. We can open them, but we have to wait for everyone to wake up to open presents. There will be wrapping all over the floor. Yummy, gooey cinnamon and orange rolls will be eaten. The goats will get peanuts butter sandwiches.

Yesterday night, we opened our Secret Santa presents. This way, we get three nights of opening presents!

On another note my cat, Sully, has been limping. A few days ago, a big crash came from the laundry room and Sully came gimping out. She has been getting very spoiled and cuddled a lot. She seems to be getting better though.

Still No Snow

There is still no snow on the ground.
So I decided to go for a walk in the woods.
I love climbing this tree. It hangs over the stream and you have to be careful to not fall out.
 Reflections in the stream.
Deerpath. I scared 3 deer out of the brush and they ran across the road to the neighbors property. Our hunting guy has stopped coming because the only traffic we were getting was two small yearling does. And the ones I saw weren't yearlings for sure. So typical.
Still no snow, and the goats are happy.

The Gold Stamp of Approval

My goat, Gold, insisted I make an award and give it to my two favorite goatie blogs!

Here are the rules:
  1. If you are awarded The Gold Stamp of Approval, you must tell everyone 3 silly things about your goats.
  2. Link to your favorite goat or farm blogs and add a nice tidbit about why you like them!
  3. Please make a link back to the person you received the award from.
  4. Inform the award receiver that they have an award, by comment on their latest post or email.
  5. Have fun!
Here are three things about my goats.
  1. My goats love to balance on their hind legs for no reason.
  2. They love nothing more then eating popcorn (And peanuts!).
  3. If they had the chance, they would love to come inside and live in the house.
I award this to....

Teresa and Millie at Eden Hills - The antics that happen at this place are so funny! Millie will brighten your day with peanuts and her daughter, Bambi (we love you Marlee!).

Pricilla and The Publicist at The Maaa of Pricilla - Pricilla, what has Abby done now? And is Luke still ignoring your name?

My Goats and Their Love of Corn

We keep our corn in this old mini-van. It's snow and wind proof. And no predator that I've heard of can lift that door! I can barely lift it, it's so heavy!
We also apparently keep our goats there. They would love to live with the corn bag. They will do anything to get more corn.
You push one away, two more takes its place. Like with a Hydra. But not really. Because they are goats. Not Hydra. You get it.
And could that be? A... gasp... baby bump??? Or is Gold just fat?
Gold: I heard that!
