Oh, this whole world keeps spinning 'round. It's a wonder tall trees ain't layin' down. There comes a time, comes a time.

L is for a Little Vole

I was walking back from the woods when I saw a little vole in the ditch next to the road.
I got closer and it didn't run away.
I got even closer and it hid in a old deer hoof print.
 It was pretty durn cute!

Pretty amazing you got that close to take pictures. I usually don't see them when they are cute like that because I usually only see them after the dogs or cats.

I've never heard of a vole. Looks like a hamster to me... Hope it wasn't so scared it couldn't move! {:-Deb

I know I'm repetitious, as cute as it is, I don't know what a vole is:) But great for the letter L!

I came over from Rural Thursday, and I'm so taken with your clever juxtaposition of you and your goats that I just have to follow.

It's a rodent so I feel wrong saying it's cute but how cute is it that it hid in the little deer hoof hole??? LOL
