My Penny is the sweetest little baby.
She sits on my lap and gives me snuzzels and I give her scritchs.
I can't wait to take her to the fair. I haven't even officially started 'training' her yet, because she just follows me around anyway!
Here is a collage I made when she was younger and didn't share. She was still so little and fluffy!

High heels are the bane of my existence. Too bad my mother, didn't understand that. "Mooom," I whined. "When is this thing going to end?" She looked at me sharply. "Maya, this is your sister's wedding reception, you could at least TRY to have fu--" "STEP SISTER, Mom. She's my STEP SISTER." I interrupted. "Well, I don't see how that's any different. She is your family and you had might as well act like it!" I sighed and walked away to a small bench that sat nearby. I sat down and started undoing the straps on my shoes. Good riddance.

This folder is full of "Love Notes" from my youngest sister to my mother. I looked through it for about ten minutes before finding what I wanted.
I went out to the woods to find Fluffy. I knew I would find something cool!
I love the way the trees arc over the stream to create a cool effect.
I've been wanting to grow Morning Glories on this stone smoother for quite a while. It looks like I will have to do lots of weeding before that happens!
I just love the font on our bubble container.

Can you see the frog? He's on the smaller rock in the middle.
I got about 7 inches away from him and he didn't jump. He's got very pretty green stripes on his feet and face.
Then I tried to get closer and he jumped straight at my head and scared me right as a took the shot. It didn't turn out that great.

This is the stream normally.
This is what it looks like now. Water flooding in from both sides of the ditch and lots of mini streams carrying more water into it from the woods.
This is the other side of the road. My neighbors whole field is flooded.
The telephone pole we use as a bridge is usually about 3 1/2 feet above the water but when I went out this morning, the water was touching it. Then I went back out and saw this! It got swept away down the stream a bit. But it's pretty well stuck so I don't think it'll float away.
How's the weather in your area?

For First of the Month, I'm doing my baby goat, Penny. She was born on February 27th. That makes her 65 days old today (I counted!).
I love her markings. She looks almost exactly like one of the former babies born on this farm, Jaimy.
Her mother is slowly weaning her to eat only grass and occasional grain.
I love my silly baby girl!
Even when she chews on my camera strap.
