Oh, this whole world keeps spinning 'round. It's a wonder tall trees ain't layin' down. There comes a time, comes a time.

Flooding

This is the stream normally.
This is what it looks like now. Water flooding in from both sides of the ditch and lots of mini streams carrying      more water into it from the woods.
This is the other side of the road. My neighbors whole field is flooded.
Another view.

The telephone pole we use as a bridge is usually about 3 1/2 feet above the water but when I went out this morning, the water was touching it. Then I went back out and saw this! It got swept away down the stream a bit. But it's pretty well stuck so I don't think it'll float away.

How's the weather in your area?

I hope you stay safe with all that flooding. We've had fair rains the last week, but we've really needed it.

Whoa! That is a lot of flooding! We've had a lot of storms, but our creek looks pretty normal.

You must have received alot of rain in a short period, Tayet -- hope it calms down so the water can recede.
